Hard of Hearing Peer Support Group

Are you hard of hearing? 19+?
Do you want a safe space to talk about your experiences, get ideas and gain skills?
If so, this group is for you!

Week 1: Hard of Hearing – Similarities, Differences, & Everything In-Between
Week 2: Discovering your Identity as a person with hearing loss
Week 3: Experience with accessing the world
Week 4: Listening Fatigue & Coping Strategies
Week 5: Advocating & Community
Week 6: Review & Wrap Up

This group will be facilitated by WBP staff with weekly topics for discussion. It will be a combination of peer to peer support and psychoeducation around the identified topics.
Group will run weekly for 6 weeks on zoom in spoken language and professional captioning will be provided.
