Time: 5:30 PM to 7 PM

Having your camera on is a requirement to join this group.

6—week group facilitated by mental health social worker. This will run as a support group and participants will be encouraged to share their experiences.

Topics covered will include:

  • Listening Fatigue
  • System Navigation
  • Self Advocacy
  • Identity
  • Taking care of your mental health
  • Reducing Isolation

What is this group for?

A place for hard of hearing adults 19+ to gather and support each other with a guided facilitator. Participants will be able to share their experiences in a support group format.

Felicia D’Amato is a hard of hearing Social Worker working at the Deaf Well Being Program since 2016. She uses both spoken English and sign language fluently. She will be facilitating this group in spoken English.
