What
is WBP?
The Well-Being Program (WBP) is a government funded health
service, under the auspices of the Vancouver Community Mental Health Services
within the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority.

The WBP provides four tracks of service:
Therapy
Therapy for people who are deaf, hard of hearing, and deaf-blind and
their family members in B.C.
Interpreters
Specialized mental health interpreting is available for clients attending:
(1) therapy sessions
(2) support workers
(3) psychiatric assessments
(4) mental health team meetings
Support Work
Support Workers provide life skills development, advocacy, case management,
community liaison, and supportive counselling both one-to-one and in group
settings.
Support Groups are offered for more in-depth learning and hands-on insight
into mental health issues.
Community Education
Workshops are planned with and for consumers and professionals. WBP offers
workshops on mental heath topics in all the 4 regions of the province
of British Columbia: Island, Lower Mainland, Okanagan, and the North.
