The CHHA-BC Youth Peer Support Program is pleased to announce an exciting new workshop on Saturday, November 2nd 10:00am to 3:30pm at the BC Children’s Hearing & Speech Centre of BC (3575 Kaslo Street Vancouver BC, Canada V5M 3H4).
Empowering Girls of Tomorrow, a free educational workshop, aims to teach young women and girls about two important aspects. The first is on self-protection and wellness including identifying types of abuse. The second portion will be an informational basic job rights introduction for those with disabilities. We will then have guest speakers share their inspiring career stories. This workshop is meant for hard of hearing girls and young women ages 13 to 21 years-old. CART and a free lunch will be provided, as well as time to network and ask questions.

Please let us know about your accessibility needs, food allergies, and contact information. Parental consent is required to attend for those underage. Email confirmation will be sent once applications have been processed.
